Welcome to Hoole Community Centre

Hoole Community Centre provides a practical and safe place for local groups. We hire space for workshops, classes, meetings, children’s activities and family celebrations. Our mission is to serve the community today and in the future. Hoole Community Centre has over 20 different activities taking place at the moment ranging from activities such as zumba, Yoga, art classes and a variety of dance classes. The community centre has 7 spaces available for hire, one being a large hall.

WEA Adult Reading and Writing

Are you or do you know someone who needs help with reading and writing? We have courses at the centre which will help you gain more confidence when dealing with these everyday life skills.

The course will help those who may have found schooling tough, possibly because of personal issues or difficulties, such as dyslexia.

The course is open to anyone over 19 struggling with English Literacy, including those for whom English is not their first language.

Wednesday Class - 10am Adult Reading and Writing where lots of support is offered to help you feel more confident in English. The courses are supported by (Workers Education Association) and there are concessions available to all.

WEA Writing Workshops

Thursday Class - A course for anyone with an interest in improving their writing imaginatively and creatively. Sessions 10am at Hoole Community Centre. Concessions available.

International Coffee Morning is returning next week. We are moving to a Tuesday morning (10am - 12pm) until Christmas. Our lovely volunteer Suzanne will be setting up camp in Hobson's Cafe.
It's still free, you can still get a hot drink and it's still a drop in session.
